The Delta Psi tree: a triangle and a trident-shaped trunk among leaves.

Change your mind.

Delta is the sign for change. Psi stands for the mind. Delta Psi makes stories, workbooks and live groups that help people see the pattern they're in, and try one different move.

Why stories

Most of what holds people back isn't a lack of information. It's a habit of mind they never chose: the reply that comes out sharp before they've thought, the fight they keep having, the wish that never turns into a plan.

Advice about those habits is easy to nod at and hard to use. A story lets people watch the habit happen to someone else, at a safe distance, then see the moment it could have gone differently. That moment is what they take into their own week.

What we hold to

  • Plain words. Every idea is said the way you'd say it across a table, without jargon or a reading list.
  • No invented numbers. No "studies show" that nobody can check.
  • Patterns, not labels. A label sits next to a behavior, never on a person.
  • Education, not therapy. When something needs a professional, the episodes and guides say so.

Matt Pinckley

Delta Psi is led by Matt Pinckley, who created the series and the workbooks and leads the live cohorts.

For more than ten years Matt ran study groups built around a single book, a chapter at a time. Delta Psi grew out of what those groups taught him: people change when they practice with other people, one small move a week.

The library now runs to 7 series and 61 episodes, with more in production.
